So, you're in the planning phase of your wedding journey? It can be a daunting task, but I am totally here for it and can help you with many different aspects of your planning process. Who are trusted wedding vendors that are great to work with? I can give you a list! How do I plan my timeline? I've worked many weddings and can talk you through it.
You've been dreaming of this day since you got engaged and you want to make sure it's captured in its entirety, from those little candid moments down to the pretty little details you've carefully curated. That's what I am here for! I can capture all of these beautiful parts of your day.
When you book through me you get an extensive wedding-planning guide to help you plan and prepare for your big day. You also get a photographer who is committed to telling your story; an easy-going photographer who you can trust to take care of documenting your day, makes you feel comfortable in front of the camera, can have a good yarn with Grandad and can share in all the lols. You'll soon discover that you're not just booking a photographer, but someone who genuinely cares about your experience and makes damned sure it's the best it can be. I’ve teamed up with an amazing content creator who loves weddings just as much as I do. So when your big day comes, she will be there to catch all the magic, all the vibes, and everything in between.
The day
Your content creator will be right there alongside me, capturing all the raw, unfiltered, in-the-moment goodness that makes your day uniquely yours. They'll keep the energy high, hype you up, and honestly feel like the bestie you didn’t know you needed.
What you get
Relive the best day ever with a full folder of iPhone-shot snippets—hundreds of real, candid clips from the moments you remember (and the ones you don’t). Delivered via Google Drive within 24 hours, your package even includes two edited videos tailored to your needs - These will look like one short form and one long form video.
Short form
This will be up to 30 seconds. A more concise edit that focuses on key moments of your day, like the sunset, ceremony, or any standout moments. These edits are sharper, punchier - ideal for social media or to capture specific memories in a short, impactful format.
Long form
This will be 60-90 seconds long. A bespoke highlight reel that captures the essence of the day. From the very start to the final moments, this video will showcase the best bits and relives the magic in a seamless, engaging narrative. Perfect for sharing with friends and family or keeping as a special memory. (But also still short enough to be shared on social platforms!)

Hey, I'm Andrea
I’m a professional photographer, artist, and mum of two amazing boys. A nature-lover, keen surfer, and trained primary school teacher. And I love figuring out what makes people tick, then bringing it to life it on camera.
I’ve been in the photography game for 6 years – capturing countless couples’ big days, families big and small, and some of New Zealand’s biggest brands. I’ve loved every minute, and I’ve even racked up a few awards along the way.
I’ve always found the magic really happens when the people in front of the camera connect with the person behind it. If you think so too, I’d love to catch up in person or on-screen. So get in touch, and let’s chat about telling your story.
ADD ONS
If you think the packages available don’t quite cut the mustard, here’s some extras you can add to your packages for some extra spunk.
Second shooter
A second shooter is available at a minimum of 6 hours at $1000. If you are wanting a second shooter for a full 8 hour day it is an extra $1500.
FILM PHOTOGRAPHY
A roll of film with 36 images (Portra 400) Developed and sent as digitals. $250/roll
Additional hours
8 hours is usually ideal to cover all the key moments of your day. However additional hours to your wedding day are available at $450 an hour.
Travel costs
If I am travelling outside of Wanaka for your wedding I will need to cover travel and accommodation costs. Each scenario is different depending on whether I need to cover accommodation costs for more than one night, or book flights and a rental car.
Engagement session
I love doing engagement sessions to break the ice before your wedding day. They're a great way to become familiar with myself and to get used to being in front of the camera. Then you can use the photos to announce your engagement to your nearest and dearest! I like to find amazing locations for this so be prepared for an adventure!
TRAVEL
If you are based outside of the Ohope I do need to charge travel costs to cover my expenses.
TRAVEL
I base my travel costs off the IRD website recommendations of 1.04 cents per kilometre. This is to basically cover fuel costs.
SHORT DISTANCE
If I am driving over 2 hours away I do need to cover travel costs. I charge a fee of $200 for this.
LONG DISTANCE
If I am driving over 3 hours away I do need to cover two nights accommodation and travel costs. I charge a fee of $750 for this.
AIR TRAVEL
If I am flying I need to cover 2 nights accommodation, rental car, parking fees and flights. I charge a flat fee of $1200.

What is your approach?
My approach is candid, documentary and raw.
You'll see my work captures connection, little moments of love and fly on the wall doco type photos. Every story is different and I love being there to document it. I do give direction when needed, and I'm there the whole time to add guidance when you feel unsure. If you've looked through my galleries you'll see I love a good landscape shot too. Gotta capture the beautiful locations on the wedding day!
Your experience is just as important as the finished product so you'll see I invest my time and energy into this as much as the final result.
Will there be a second shooter?
I'm completely confident I can capture your day on my own, however there are some benefits to having a second shooter. You can choose this as an 'add on' when booking your wedding.
What happens before the wedding?
We have a big yarn about your plans and how I can best serve you as your photographer on your big day. I keep in touch leading up to the wedding and send out an online form to fill out with all the big details of your day. I then call you if you need help with finding vendors, planning your timeline, giving advice on lighting, anything wedding related I'm here for it and happy to help!
What happens after the wedding?
After the wedding I whip up a sneak peek of up to 100 images in an online gallery with the highlights of your day to share with family and friends. In peak season your full gallery can take up to 10 weeks to be delivered in an online gallery and a beautiful box of around 20 prints.
I'm ready to book! What's next?
AMAZING! I can’t WAIT to get to know you both and I’m so thrilled you’ve chosen me. To book I require a signed contract and a third of the total bill as a retainer. Dates cannot be reserved until these have been received.
Do you travel?
I do! I love going on adventures. Tell me all about it in the contact form and we can make some magic together!
What if it's raining?
Wedding days and rain do happen. The best thing is to be prepared so if it does you're not stressed. You can still get epic photos on a rainy day! I carry enough clear umbrellas for the bridal party. Some of my favourite weddings had rain and that's because the bride and groom embraced it all and had the best time.
What happens on my wedding day?!
I turn up when you want me to start and as soon as I'm there I'm documenting it all. You can trust me to capture all those little moments in between, be a time keeper, keep everyone on the same page, add in some lols and genuinely be present for you so your day runs smoothly and is the absolute best bloody day ever. The most important element of your day to me is you being comfortable and enjoying it all.
How do I print photos, order magazines or albums?
I have a link on my website on my homepage for this. I am more than happy to talk you through this process to make it as seamless and easy as possible.
